Planning Applications
No. 0096 Middle Farm, Stalbridge Weston. Renew permission to retain Mobile Home. It was proposed by P Ashcroft and seconded by J Cowley that the previous objections by the T C be reiterated with the addition that it should be pointed out that the house that obtained planning permission because of the Chicken Farm is now no longer anything to do with it. Agreed
No. 0119 Sunnyside, Thornhill Road. Erect single storey rear extension with roof garden, demolish outbuildings. After some discussion it was proposed by J Cowley and seconded by P Ashcroft that although the TC have no objection to the demolition of the existing outbuildings and the construction of the extension they object most strongly to the inclusion of a terrace garden on the roof of the extension. This is felt to be totally out of keeping with the surrounding area and a serious invasion of privacy of the properties on either side not only from a visual point of view but also from a noise point of view. It is also felt that this application should be considered by the full Development Control Committee Copy of letter of objection from Mr Hann to NDDC received.
