Confirm minutes of last meeting and decisions of NDDC Planning Cttee
The minutes of the Planning Cttee meeting held on 11th August were approved and signed by the Chairman.
Decisions of NDDC Planning Committee
No. 9097 Thornhill House. Various works. Granted
No. 0668 Home Farm, Shipney Lane. Application regarding mobile home withdrawn
No. 1157 Cooks Farm, Erect agricultural workers dwelling, Mr & Mrs Selway. Notification that an informal hearing regarding their appeal is to be held at Stour Row Village Hall on 12th October at 10.-00 a.m.
No. 0729 10 Grosvenor Road, erect extensions. Granted
No. 0665 6 Park Grove, erect extension. Granted

Mrs Garton asked if there had been any decision on the proposed development adjoining Station Road Car Park. Apparently this is still under negotiation.
Planning Applications
LB 9130 School House, Church Hill. Restore original fireplace and replace oak beams. It was proposed by J Cox and seconded by D Grimes hat there be no objections provided the work was supervised by the Conservation Officer. All agreed
No. 0851 25 Grosvenor Road, Two storey extension It was proposed by J Cox and seconded by D Grimes that there be no objections. All agreed
Sth. Som. 02229 Airfield. Erect aircraft production facility. It was proposed by D Grimes and seonded by J Cox that there be no objection in principle but previous comments regarding the possibility of light pollution, increased risk of flooding and increase in HGV traffic made in respect of other applications on the Airfield should be re-iterated. All agreed.
Other planning matters
The question of the disturbance caused to Stalbridge Weston residents by heavy lorries accessing the poultry farm during the night was again discussed. It was proposed by W Batty-Smith and seconded by R Penfold that a letter be sent to Mr Tim Westwood, Traffic Management DCc reiterating our previous request for a night time ban on HGV traffic quoting the Human Right to have an undisturbed night’s sleep. Agreed
Clerk to write
The Bridleway/SPS Track has been damaged by vehicles apparently working at 15 Larks Meadow. The Jarvis Field Play Area fence has also been damaged. The clerk advised that she has written to Wessex Water to advise them and also DCC Rights of Way Officer. It was agreed to write a letter to 15 Larks Meadow and advise the owner that he will be held responsible for the Town Council’s damaged fence posts.
