Minutes of Planning Committee Meeting held in the Town Council Office

The Chairman welcomed back Cllr D Grimes who had been ill and unable to attend some meetings

Confirm minutes of last meeting and decisions of NDDC Planning Cttee
The minutes of the Planning Cttee meeting held on 13th July were approved and signed by the Chairman.
Decisions of NDDC Planning Committee
No. 0557 The Methodist Church. Erect glazed extensions to front entrance, alterations to toilet block etc. Granted. Councillors expressed dismay at the decision with regard to the glazed extension and it was proposed by J Cowley and seconded by D Neal that a letter be written to the Development Control Manager. All agreed.

G Carr-Jones advised that he has been invited to a meeting on 1st August in Sturminster Council Office regarding the proposed Bio-ethanol plant at Henstridge. The Stalbridge Chairman is invited invited but as he is unable to attend J Cowley and P Ashcroft will do so. It was agreed that the next meeting on this subject should be held in Stalbridge.
A letter from Sth Somerset DC inviting two members to a meeting in the Club House on Henstridge Airfield on 23rd August to discuss the Henstridge Airfield Master Plan received. D Neal and J Cowley will attend.
Planning Applications
No. 0693 7 Robinson Heights, erect first floor side extension. It was proposed by J Cowley and seconded by P Ashcroft that there be no objections. All agreed.
No. 0727 46 Vale Road, erect Conservatory. It was proposed by J Oliver and seconded by P Ashcroft that there be no objections. All agreed.
There being no further business the meeting closed at 8 p.m.
