The minutes of the Planning Cttee meeting held on 8th March were approved and signed by the Chairman.

No. 0236 27 High Street. Change of use from Residential to Gallery. It was proposed by J O’Hare and seconded by P Ashcroft that there be no objections. All agreed.
No. 0252 South Cottage, Ring Street. Erect Conservatory It was proposed by J Cox and seconded by P Ashcroft that there be no objections. All agreed
No. 0221 Lairigbubh, Grove Lane. Erect 2 storey Extension It was proposed by J Cowley and seconded by J Cox that there be no objections provided that the proximity of the extension to the boundary of the property did not contravene any planning regulations. All agreed. A copy of a letter from Mrs White to NDDC raising objections was read out and it was also agreed to support her request that the application be determined by the Planning Committee not just an Officer.
LB9042 to 9046 Thornhill House. Internal alterations. It was proposed by J Cowley and seconded by P Ashcroft that there be no objections provided that the Conservation Officer approved the proposals, however attention to be drawn to the fact that some of the work in No 9042 appeared to be using reconstituted stone not natural stone.

After some discussion it was agreed not to purchase a further 1 year warranty for the Computer hardware at a cost of £125.
The Clerk advised that R Sharp has been requested to remove the marked shrubs on The Ring.
Some discussion took place regarding the illegal flyposting for local events on telegraph poles. Clerk to write to RBL and Guggleton Gallery and also The Ring
