Minutes of Planning Committee Meeting held in the Town Council Office
On Wednesday 12th March 2008 commencing 7-30 p.m.

Present Councillors B Alexandre, P Ashcroft, J Cowley, J Cox, K Garland,
D Grimes, R Penfold, J Smith, J Wardell and W Batty-Smith Chairman, D J Hine (Clerk)

Confirm minutes of last meeting and decisions of NDDC Planning Cttee

The minutes of the Planning Cttee meeting held on 27th February were approved and signed by the Chairman.

With regard to the proposed Parking Restrictions the Chairman confirmed that after the next Planning Meeting on the 26th March there would be a private meeting with Mr A Jowsey of DCC to discuss the comments made during the consultation period and any further proposals that may be put before the public at the special Town Council meeting to be held after the Annual Parish Meeting on April 23rd

Decisions of NDDC Planning Committee

No. 0049 The Sawmills, Station Road. Erect extension. Granted
No. 0989 Ryalls Farm Erect agricultural dwelling. Outline Granted.

Planning Applications

No. 0153 1 Park Grove. Erect two storey extension. It was proposed by J Cowley and seconded by J Wardell that there be no objections and as previous concerns had been addressed, if refusal was recommended by Officers, the matter should be put before the full Planning Committee. All agreed.

No. 0175 Bartlett’s Cottage. Erect extensions. It was proposed by J Cowley and seconded by J Wardell that there be no objections. All agreed.

With regard to the application for works to protect trees at Cranleigh,Church Hill, it was decided to make no comments
