Planning Applications
No. 0274 Ryalls Farm. Erect Agricultural dwelling. Approval of Reserved matters.
It was proposed by J Cowley and seconded by J Cox, that there be no objections. All agreed.
The following are all in South Somerset District and refer to land at Henstridge Airfield.
No. 1536 Variation of Condition 10 of PA 00717. It was proposed by J Cox and seconded by J Cowley that no recommendation be made until details of the conditions applicable are submitted. All agreed.
No. 01618 Erect extension to existing hangar. It was proposed by J Cowley and seconded by J Cox that refusal be recommended as no reason is given for the extension which appears to presuppose an increase in the number of aircraft using the airfield. A vote was taken with the result of 7 in favour, 3 against . The motion was carried.
No. 01647 Erect wind turbine. It was proposed by J Cowley and seconded by J Cox that refusal be recommended on the grounds that the 100m turbine could present a hazard to aircraft using the airfield and would seriously impact upon the natural beauty of the Blackmore Vale. 5 in favour, 3 against, 2 abstained. The motion was carried.
