An important update about Council meetings

Up to the 7th May 2021 the Coronavirus Act 2020 permits authorities to make changes to their meeting arrangements and have flexibility to hold meetings at a time, day and frequency to suit their own needs.
Therefore if the current roadmap out of lock down remains unchanged the annual Town Council meeting will take place via Microsoft Teams on 5th May 2021 and meetings in person are permitted from the 21st June.
At the annual Town Council meeting terms of delegation which will include responses to consultation on planning applications  will be agreed for the period between the 6th May and the 21st June.

Please contact the clerk no later than 12.00  noon on the Monday preceding the meeting to obtain access details.
If after the 21st June meetings in person are permitted these meetings will be held
within the current government guidelines and premises ventilation, social distancing  and wearing of masks may be required.

A guide to Coronavirus for local residents

A message from Katie Garland (Chairman of Stalbridge Town Council)

With so much talk about coronavirus, it’s hard to know which sources of information you should keep up to date with. This is a rapidly changing situation, but we will keep you up-to-date with any new advice and guidance when it becomes available. Here are some blogs compiled by the team at Stalbridge Town Council, from various official sources, covering the main topics which we hope you will find useful. These will be updated as new information becomes available. They also contain links in most cases to further information  which can be found online through Dorset Council, The Government website and The NHS website.
