The Town Council consists of 11 Councillors, one of which is elected annually to serve as Chairman and it also has the benefit of two part-time employees, the Town Clerk, and Admin Assistant who work from the Town Council Office in TheHub@Stalbridge. The Town Council hold their regular meetings at 4 weekly intervals interspersed with extraordinary meetings to make representation on Planning applications (when required). Press & public are welcome to attend all Town Council meetings.

Mrs Tracey Watson Town Clerk
Tracey has been Clerk to Stalbridge Town Council since September 2009 & previously worked on a job share basis as Planning Clerk and RFO to Henstridge Parish Council for 6 years. She is CilCA qualified (Certificate in Local Council Administration). Mr Peter Channon Admin Officer
Pete is working for 16 hours per week over 3 days based at the Town Council office at the Hub. He has over 30 years’ experience as a career public servant in Human Resources. |
