​The Town Council consists of 11 Councillors, one of which is elected annually to serve as Chairman and it also has the benefit of two part-time employees, the Town Clerk, and Admin Assistant who work from the Town Council Office in TheHub@Stalbridge. The Town Council hold their regular meetings at 4 weekly intervals interspersed with extraordinary meetings to make representation on Planning applications (when required). Press & public are welcome to attend all Town Council meetings.

Neil has lived in Stalbridge since 2020 and brings a wealth of experience from his career in the Army, City of London, and telecommunications sector. A qualified GDPR and Data Protection consultant, he also volunteers at the Royal Signals Museum in Blandford. Co-opted to the Council in 2021 and again in 2025, Neil is passionate about supporting local businesses and working with fellow Councillors to ensure Stalbridge thrives for all its residents.
Nick Andrews. Nick is currently vice Chair of the Stalbridge allotment society and is keen to work with local groups to ensure our green spaces, parks and play areas and nature reserve are fully supported and to ensure that the whole community are aware of the facilities available to them. He is keen to understand the issues facing the community of Stalbridge and subsequently help make a positive contribution to the wellbeing and development of the community.

Mrs Tracey Watson  Town Clerk
Tracey has been Clerk to Stalbridge Town Council since September 2009 & previously worked on a job share basis as Planning Clerk and RFO to Henstridge Parish Council for 6 years.  She is CilCA qualified (Certificate in Local Council Administration).​
Mr Peter Channon Admin Officer
Pete is working for 16 hours per week over 3 days based at the Town Council office at the Hub. He has over 30 years’ experience as a career public servant in Human Resources.
