RESIDENT / CAR PARK USER INFORMATION
STATION RD CAR PARK ACCESS ROAD CLOSURE
Monday 20th March
9am -4pm
Dorset County Council Highways department have advised that
Station Road car park access road will be closed for patching works on
Monday 20th March between 9am & 4pm. The areas to be patched are at the junction with Station Road and the entrance to Stapleford Court.
If you arrive to park before 9am and are leaving after 4pm there is no reason why you will not be able to use the car park.
During the works they will do their best to allow access to Stapleford Court dependant on the work being carried out at that point.
The closure notices are posted at the top of Station Rd and at The Hub.

Sheep Worrying

3/3/2017

Picture
There has been a recent incident of sheep worrying by dogs off leads in Stalbridge.
It is vital that you keep your dog on the lead around livestock, even if you can usually trust it to come to call. It is every dog’s instinct to chase, even if they are usually obedient and good with other animals.   It is an offence to allow a dog to worry sheep. Worrying includes attacking or chasing sheep and, in some circumstances, farmers are legally entitled to destroy dogs if they are endangering their sheep.
