For the purpose of a Christmas Fayre, DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has issued a Notice under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to prohibit the use of Lower Road, Stalbridge between its junction with the A357, Ring Street to the junction with the connecting road to A357, and the connecting road in its entirety by cyclists, horse riders and all mechanically propelled vehicles, except those taking part in the event -
On Friday, 2nd December 2016 between 17:00hrs and 19.00hrs Station Road and Ring Street will be will be subject to a rolling closure between 17:30 – 18:00 whilst the Lantern Parade takes place . Click on the Santa hat for more information DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along the A357, STALBRIDGE ROAD, STALBRIDGE between Drew's Lane and Landshire Lane, a distance of approximately 900 metres. It will come into operation on Monday 05 December 2016 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 16 December 2016. The works will take place between 09.00hrs and 16.00hrs on weekdays only - the road will be open outside of these times and also over the weekend. Click on the wheel for additional information
