To Assist with an emergency power issue the Town Council have agreed that the NHS Breast Screening Unit can park adjacent to the WC's in the Station Road car park for a 2-3 week period from Monday 25th July,  whist a power supply is established at their Sherborne site.
By helping in this way it will mean that  the time that the service is suspended is limited and clinics will not need to be cancelled, reducing the impact on the scanning programme for the rest of the year. Should the power supply at the Sherborne site be achieved sooner the unit will not need to leave Sherborne or may have a shorter stay at Stalbridge.
